When i select edit shortcut, Handcent is not in that list, only the stock messaging app is

When you open "Better Cut" select the "New Shortcut" option. You'll have to wait a minute for all of the apps to load but you'll be able to scroll down and select Handcent from that list. From there its pretty self explanatory.

Ok, when i select new shortcut, i get a list of shortcut types, ie direct call, direct text, activity, system setting shortcut, other available, website, or make your own. Im sure im missing something simple

Sorry I forgot to mention you have to select "Activity" after you go into create a new shortcut.

what application are you using to organize your application folders? (the games, tools)

and how did you theme your icons?

My application folders are customized using "Apps Organizer". It's a great app. I also used it to change the folder icons. As for the app icons (messaging, browser, email, ect.) I used BetterCut.

I got my icons from this site. You can also download icon packs from the market for the BetterCut app.

I also skinned my Handcent Messaging app to match my home screens. The conversation is with my brother-in-law who has an iPhone

Can you explain how you changed the icon for your Handcent app. I was only able to change the icon for the standard messaging app. Thanks in advance

i cant get this screen to change. i only get the option for white or black. my conversation screen changed but thats it. any ideas??? thanks in advanced.

My current setup. My other screens are very plain with stock widgets (music, power control, pic frames) and App Organizer icons. Nothing special. I'm debating on getting rid of the "More Icons" setup I have on this main screen. It's pretty useful to have all those apps ready with one tap but it's kinda ugly in my opinion.. hmm

I only use 3 screens. I can access everything I need through the middle screen, the right screen is full of apps to show off the phones capabilities (skymap goggles etc) and the left screen is left blank to show off the wallpaper (which is normally a mostly naked hot chick)

just the first screen removed alot of stuff and went to a more music focus since all the other stuff i acces is through notice and longpress home most the time

The notification bar apparently doesn't show up in screenshots. Also, Took screenshots of the default email and default messaging icons, photoshopped them to have transparencies and shadows, then replaced K-9 and Handcent's icons with the default icons.
