Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

That's a good question, probably because of wifi? I did this Quadrant last night just after I got an incredible 1876 result on a FIOS wifi network, I went to my appdrawer to open Picme and get the snapshot but when I went back to Quadrant I got a FC and couldn't get the shot to prove it, o well next time. Downloading Foxy now.. thanks!! :icon_ banana:

Thanks for the quick reply. oh man you are gonna love that foxy ring, makes my life easier. there is still 2 questions i would love if you answer it?! q1: should I root now or wait for the official update? if i should root please direct me to the best way (article/video) and your fav rom. q2: why some of my games start out from now where showing in a big screen (like I am zooming to the top left) and cant see anything else but top left in very big size! please help.

I can answer Q1 but I really have no idea about what's going on for your Q2, sorry perhaps someone else may have an idea.
As for your 1st question I did use this link Guide to Rooting Android 2.1 on a Motorola Droid - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog , I did read everything 3 or 4 times before doing anything to my device, I wanted it to be 100% sure of what I was doing. Should you root now? or after the official release.... I don't see why waiting, specially since the source code was release yesterday, I'm sure that Cyanogen will come up with a great ROM in a few days (maybe less)

Thanks for the reply again. So i made up my mind and I am on the process of rooting now the problem is I don't have an USB cable! I have a drop box and I did tried this but on the recovery screen it wont go throw, ideas!

the q2 problem is driving me crazy! I google, youtube and search here for it no one even ever heard of it. I am the only one who is having this problem.

There's a some apps on the market that can help you to take screenshots, the one I use its call, PicMe, its free, and really easy to use.

Install the screenshot app ShootMe. Saves the caps in a folder on the sdcard called... wait for it... ShootMe. After taking the shots, unmount your SD card, then remount it (under settings/sd card & phone storage), or reboot the phone. Pics will now be available in the gallery to upload from the web on your phone or from tapatalk.

your charger IS a USB cable. unless they changed that since i bought my 3 droids. my cousin didn't realize that either. you just have to unattach the charger cable from the piece that plugs in the wall.

idk which droid you have, and maybe they did change that, sorry if they did and i'm wrong.

Your droid came with a charger, everyones droid comes with it otherwise we would all have dead phones all the time. Just unplug the chord from the part that physically goes into the outlet. And you can root without needing a cable anyway, but you have one, so its irrelevant

My charger is UNattached it can not be remove!!! and i read the box now it dont say anything about USB! i bought my phone since 2 month ago (moto droid) however you don't have to worry anymore! I borrow a USB and it work fine and now I AM ROOTED WOHOOOOOOOOOOOO can't believe I wait this much i am so freaking happy!!!

This is the wrong thread to be asking so go to the Droid hacking forum and make a thread if you want. Really it just depends on what customizations you like because the ones out now are all virtually the same except for the theme. Try out one and if you don't like it, try another.
