Make sure that there are contact pictures set for the individual contacts you want. Then Menu button/Add/Shortcuts/Contact or Direct Dial or Direct Message. Whichever one you want to add.

Sorry I just saw this...This is the Dark-edge UI. I used the starter ROM. The icons ARE similar to Dark-edge icons. I sorta customized my own.
