Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I have wanted to do this for a while and I had some time so here are screenshots from my :motdroidvert:

I am using the default home application. On my main (middle) screen I have the Weather Widget surrounded by my most frequently used apps.

On the left screen I have the power control widget with "waste of time"/ "less used" apps. I have included screen shots of the three folders I have with more nested "less used" apps.

The right screen has short cuts to my frequent contacts. I created silhouettes of each and uploaded them to my GMail account. Thus the reason for my "boring" all black wallpaper. The silhouettes look really nice on the phone. (The blown up jpg shows a little too much detail on the silhouettes that you can't see on the phone.)

I wonder if trying to make each image a transparent .png in like photoshop would work better for you? I dont know that once you add them into google contacts if they would still be transparent but if so you could use any background.

Try this. http://www.ehow.com/how_2029201_png-photoshop.html

No, png files turn the transparent background to white. Only pdd and Tiff keeps them transparent and you can't upload those images to GMail. Good thought though!

Garrett, who's the girl in your background? She's AMAZING!

Just curious, is that Garrett as in, Garrett turbochargers or is your name Garrett?

the girl is Aleksandra Wydrych she is a photographer/artist from poland her deviant art page is zenibyfajnie on deviantART

my name is Garrett but i do have a Garrett GT28RS in my car too so i guess it could be either.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to be asking this in but I have the beautiful widgets clock/weather widget and I can't place it on the top part of my screen. it sits about 2/3 of the way up. when I move it, it just comes back down. any advice?
