digital clock widget

Thanks for the reply...

I have a couple questions on how to get a couple of these to come up? If these are widgets or what?

I know this is executive assistance, just wondering if this is a widget or what and how do you put stuff in the top part of appts or stuff?

Then this one, is this a widget or how do I get it this big? How do I get the background to turn black too?

This is the last one. What calendar is this and how do I get it this big on my screen? Is it a widget or what?

This pic is from my Droid. It's Handcent SMS, which is what I use instead of the default Messaging tool. What you're looking at is the main screen when you open the app...you can scroll up and down just like on the default Messaging. The background pic is stationary. Handcent gives you a lot of custimization options. When you first download it, everything is set up differently than how I have it. Here are the settings I use if you're looking to set it up similar to this.

Skin - Hero
Theme - Black
Conversation Style - Android

Conversation List Settings...
>Enable Custom (check the box)
>Use Picture (check the box)
>Select Picture (pick any pic you want as the background)

Also under Conversation List Settings, you can change the Contact, Subject, Date and Divider colors to match whatever look you're going for. If you're going to use Handcent as your default messaging app, be sure to turn off all the settings for the "Messaging" app, such as Notifications, Auto-retrieve, etc, so you don't get duplicate notifications and things like that.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help. That does explain it better for me. I have been using handscent also. I just can not get the background to turn black for me at all? Maybe I will try restarting my phone once.

Do you use this as one of your screens or just when you click the app shortcut?

Thanks,Laurieb

This is the main screen when I click the app shortcut. The Earth background is just the pic I chose to use. Once I click on a conversation, it just goes to the standard Android messaging layout with no background picture (though you can use custom background pics and/or colors for each individual conversation if you really wanted to). If you're wanting the bar at the top (below the notification bar) to be black instead of white, just change the settings I discussed in the previous post (theme & skin) and that bar at the top should change to what I have.

I've been following this thread since it started, just now getting around to posting up my screenshots.

This is my current setup.
I have 7 screens, but I only every really use the three.
I'm running Pete's BB v1.0 1.2gHz w/the Nexus theme. Oh, and Helix2 as my home.

How'd you get 7 screens?

And also, whats that facebook application called?

And since I'm new to all of this, how are you guys taking these screenshots of your Droid homepage?
