you do realize he made a nextheme for the droid? you didnt need to port anything...

I took out the changes that I liked, plus I wanted to use AdamZ's ROM as my base. I used a mixture between the Desire Theme and the NexTheme.

That is a nice look!

I actually kept the stock icons this time because they go with my blue scheme really well. May find some other nice blue ones to use but these will definitely do for now.

you have to move it to /system/app

My only thing holding me back right now is the issue people seem to have with icons looking like garbage when moving to the app tray area.

that only happen when using better cut if you dont plan to change those 4 much you can change the icons in the apk for the apps and be golden but they really dont look to bad

Yeah I would be using bettercut, although I guess I could make some low res icons for that.

Moved it from /data/app to /system/app and then themed it with Metamorph. It wouldn't work in the stock /data/app location for some reason. Even after moving it, it will update from the market so nothing breaks. BUT you'll have to move it to /system/app again after any updates.

1. Download from market
2. Install to /data/app
3. Download and edit APK
4. Put APK back on phone, move to system/app

basicly because market apps apks are signed at compile time or something with a key based on the a dev number or something but in the system folder it will no check that sig i think thats the reason for it

How can I write it for MM so that I don't have to manually extract the apk every time?

Is drocap2, or any other screenshot software, available on the market? It's extremely difficult (for me) to get my droid to cap screens using the method where you download and install the SDKs...and I'm not rooting or putting a ROM on my phone because I'm afraid of permanently damaging it...

There's got to be someone that's figured out a screenshot app by now, if it's on Home++, someone can make an app for it without having to have Home++.

On that note, I would use Home++ if I could basically make the entire application 'inactive' except for the screenshot feature.
