ok dumb question.. how do you ad a folder on droid home screen?

Long press the home screen....select which ever folder type you want

Hmm am doing that and get nothing but the brief tactic feedback..nothing opens

Do you have room on your screen for it?

Another way to do it is to hit the menu soft key...and then select "add". It will give you folder options...along with widgets and shortcuts etc. If the add button is greyed out then you have filled that particular screen and need to find space on another screen or remove one of the items on your current screen

pure grid is nice, but i actually recommend "weather forecast widget" by the same developer. it shows the events for the next 5 days, with weather highs and lows, and when clicked brings you to the stock calender.

i like that it actually shows the events right on my homescreen at one glance.

Just curious, why do people choose to use those huge clock/time widgets when the time is just above in the info bar?

Using Beautiful Widgets I have access to my Alarm click if I click on the time
my calendar when I click on the date, and the weather forecast for the next 3 days by clicking on the weather icon "clouds, sun, moon"

so its not JUST a BIG clock it looks cool and is easy to access other stuff

running a 2.1 rom and i want to run the 2.1 launcher sounds simple right?

i need a copy that has not been tweaked to work on 2.0.1 though all the ones that are tweaked for 2.0.1 have more bugs on 2.1 then they do on 2.0.1

spent a few hours on google with no luck so far

edit: not saying the 2.1 unmodded is going to work great on my droid but i want to try it and see if the bugs i have currently are because of user modding or not under 2.1

go to alldroid.org and search for xeudoxus'

it is a launcher2...it force closes if it rotates.

Try unchecking"Show Events Timeline" int he stettings
