Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

anyone know of a way to delete any of the shortcuts when you go into edit shortcuts? For some of them I have four of the same thing, and haven't been able to find anything here or on bettercuts site.

Delete them from your default home screen (I assume you're using a replacement), that will delete them from the list. One of the annoyances I had with the 2.1 launcher that made me switch to home++

you need to have an icon pack downloaded that you want to use on your phone. go to 'new shortcut', activity, and then choose the activity that you want to apply a new icon to. you can also change the name, too. just make sure that when you create it, you have room on the screen that you want it to go to because it will automatically apply it. i use bettercut and i love it. hope this helps.

agreed. Droid doesnt do screen shots. and I dont meant home ++ screen shots of just the home screens. I mean a REAL screen shot of whatever is on the screen. developers, please get on this..without root

Easy way:

Install the SDK (including the usb drivers). Plug the phone in, go to the tools folder of the sdk, launch ddms.bat.

Easier way:

GDE and Home++ have a built in option to have the camera button take a screenshot of the current screen.

Hi All - First time posting. I have been trying all the home apps. Using GDE currently. Quick ? on the first home screen there is a empty row almost in the middle of the screen. I can't put anything there. Can someone explain? I know it is probably something simple.

Like has been said...if you're rooted you can. There is also some other long ass way if you phone is connected to a computer you can take it from some program on the computer.

if you wanna take screenshots..just root your phone and download drocap2

rooting your phone takes all of 30 seconds and its next to IMPOSSIBLE to screw up.

^ I can vouch for that. I spent $5 for the SholesMod Rom and root. Best damn $5 every in the market (besides Homerun Baseball). Everyone says be careful not to brick your phone...but it's near impossible to brick it. That SholesMod Updater also allows you to unroot if you want...takes about 2 minutes and all automatic.

One of the screens in landscape mode. Nice not to have to slide the keyboard to get this; just simply rotate it.

Liking the 2.1 gallery a lot. Much easier to navigate through...multi-touch, etc.

installed home++ to take a screen shot. ha. i uninstalled home++ when i woke up today annoyed that my clock widget was stuck at 2:14 even though it was 11am. i assume now it would have been an easy fix but i was half asleep and pissed off so...**** happens.
