Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

Call me a noob if you want, but how are you embedding pictures? I'm trying to use Picasa...

You mean putting a picture on your home screen? You can use the stock "Picture Frame" widget.

Haha! Oops. Be more specific Jon...

I'm trying to share my desktop screenshots on here, but when I copy the code to embed the pics in here and click preview, all I see is the code. When I play around with the options that Picasa gives, I can get a link to show up, but no pic.

I guess this is more of a Droid Forums features question, but figured I'd ask in here since so many people have done it...

[Bottom line, how do I put a picture in my post on here when it's currently on Picasa?]

**EDIT: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_vb3_attachments Get your FAQs straight...

Is there an option on Picasa to generate bbcode for the image? If so, use that. It will give you the tags that you need, otherwise use: {img}http://path/to/image.png{/img} replacing {} with []

Say ya to da UP, eh?

In Picasa, click "link to this photo" on the right toolbar and check "Image only (no link)". That will give you the raw URL of the image in the size you selected in the Embed Line line. Copy that URL and put it between IMG tags in your forum post:
Code:
[IMG]URL[/IMG]

If you want the full size of the image, find the "/s###/" in the url (where #'s are the size) and remove it. So something "xxxxx/s800/xxxx.jpg" becomes "xxxxx/xxxxx.jpg"

Nothing special, but here you go...

I used to use one screen for tools, and another for games and other fun stuff, and then keep my "main" screen fairly clean, just setup for things I use often. When I started using Calwidget [right side], I was up to 5 screens on Home++ [had another for tools that I didn't use as often].

Decided to go back to 3, so I used Apps Organizer to create folders for the less used tools and games and put those on the screen with my frequently used tools and even made room for the power control widget.

***EDIT: Oh yeah! And that Wallpaper came from the 2.1 APK. I used it for only a day or two, but set that wallpaper, and when I removed the APK, the wallpaper stayed! WOOT!

Oh! You know about the U.P.!? Haha!

And thanks to you who offered help. I finally pulled my head out of my a** and checked the FAQs. Took me just a minute to figure out to select Image Only and use that link, but I got it!!

Now that I got that all figured out, here's my old setup...

This is how I rocked my homescreens before Calwidget and condensing into 3...

Wow...Looking at this Vs. the way I have it now, I'm glad I've made the changes I did!

I tried to read more pages but cant find it. As far as changing colors for instance for the power widget changing it from green to blue or the battery icon color... How do you guys do it ?
