Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I just got my droid yesterday and now I officially understand what crack addicts feel like lol. This phone is AMAZING and this thread is one of the best I read so far. Although its 162 pages long has a ton of good info for newbies like me. I am sure somewhere along in these pages this question may have been answered (currently on page 14). But can someone tell me the basic wall paper add? I mean can I just google any wallpaper or make my own? If so how do I add it to my droid ? One last question sorry people who have those white short cuts on the bottom how you do that ? Thanks guys and love this forum hope it goes for a long time.

Yes, almost any image that you find on the web can be set as your wallpaper. Long press on the image and save it to your SD card. After that is done you can then long press on your home screen and choose Wallpapers -> Pictures. Select the image you want and it'll then prompt you to crop the image. Do so and you're set.

In regards to the bottom white icons, that is called Home++. It's a homescreen replacement with plenty of little toys to mess around with.

Might as well ask another question. I just saw a few screen shots with vibrate, wifi on and off, and silent short cuts. How do you add those on ? Are they pre loaded or is there a app for that too ? I actually saw 2 versions of wifi on and off one was basic one was like a switch on and off... Some of you guys are so creative please let me know how I can set these up.

No idea to be honest. I just happened to be on the Battery Left thread and the developer stated the newest version was just put onto the marketplace. I generally wake up in the morning to see notifications about updates.

They are widgets. You can add the default power strip widget that comes with the Droid(by a long-press on the homescreen), or you can use the marketplace to search for more. Currently I'm using Beautiful Widgets for the ones you mentioned.

that is Home++ it adds your phone, contacts,google voice,browser,app drawer, notification,bookmarks,app manager,screens, ringer,battery all in one sliding bar down there.

Like the basic digital camera connector. I used this thing for 6hrs straight last night now my battery is dying. Anyone know a good place to buy another usb cord or cheap replacement battery ?

Search for micro usb. Any of those cables will work to charge the phone with a comupter.

Sorry for going off topic. But now back to topic. After I install home++ and set my shortcut icons on the bottom how do you recall the full list of the icons since the gray arrow with the full list is gone ?
