I initially thought you meant a .png with a black background. That's where I went wrong LOL
I opened Fireworks, and made a transparent .png that is 50 px X 50 px, just to see if it's the same as he posted. This is just a test LOL
Looks to be about the same size if not the same. You know how they have to Droid 2 extended battery? Do they make a case specifically for the Droid for that or only for the Droid 2? Because the Droid 2 one fits my phone but it's a pain to get off.
I have read tidbits all around the forum about the extended batteries being too big, the cover doesn't fit right, etc etc, but that's about all I know. I've also read a bunch of threads from people crying about their battery life sucks and all that, but I am quite happy with mine. Since 8AM this morning I have used my phone, talked to my girlfriend numerous times, texted, surfed, and the usual stuff with my phone and I am still on 50% battery. I charge it when I am sleeping and it lasts all day and into the night even with regular usage.
As for your question, I really don't know, I just remember seeing all the battery threads around the forum. Sorry I can't be more help.
It's fine man. It is much this but they have special battery covers that fit over the battery. I have a Droid 2 one which is a blue color and my Droid is black. I was just hoping they made black one specifically for the Droid so it matched and maybe fit better. I can always just go look though. I planned on it anyway. But mine undergoes pretty heavy use. Since I'm trying to customize it just the way I want, etc. my battery is being beaten to death. But, I have an extended battery and what not so hopefully it helps. Plus it,s new, mine was a little old-ish.
