Thats called "Cowon D3 Clock" you can get it from XDA here
If you know how to use APK manager you can easily customize it with you own colors

No I modded dclock to have this feature you can use minimalistic text to get same effect

If you are looking for just the days of the week look for oneseven in the market... there is a paid one and a free one! Hope that helps!!

Speaking of minimalistic text, has anyone created an in depth "how to" or anything that includes instructions, pics, etc on how to do the sweet stuff I see people using it for all the time? I can only figure out how to do the basics and even that takes forever it seems.

Here's a tutorial where you can start from, everything else will come up as you keep moving along, it's not too hard, give it a try, and reply back on the blog if you need more help!
did i not explain anything in depth enough? basically, just play around with the different tabs under the custom layout setting. youll get the hang of it.
