Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

Did you install the file manager? I had trouble at first, but I was doing it wrong, when you do the install option, you highlight the theme in the file manager and up at the top is a button you hit to set it, and that worked for me at least.

Yep, istalled the file manager Weather Widget wanted. Also have Astro. Now I can't get back to the original look of weather Widget.

Also seems like the themes I downloaded went to a file where Weather Widget doesn't like to go. May have to "mount" the SD Card and do some poking around.

Weird. O_o

I know the first time I tried to apply the theme it shot me an error, I just closed it and tried again and it's been working fine since.

What skin is that on your clock?

screen 3 - (home) weather widget donate, android agenda widget
Hrmph.. that agenda widget is almost exactly what I've been looking for, except for whats becoming one of my biggest pet peeves.. widgets that are too small for the space they take up. Why waste all that space around a 4x2 widget instead of making the thing use all of it??

Trying to upload screenshots. Using Home++ to capture. Getting error message "png has wrong file extension".

Any help?

I opened the .png in Paint first and saved it as .jpg.

Are you able to take the pics and just can't upload, or is that error happening when you're trying to take the pic?

Juss got GDE and its awseome! But I would like to know is there a free app that can change the icons? and fonts as well if there is? thanks guys

The white icons at the bottom do link to apps but they are from home++ home screen replacement. You are using Panda currently. You would need to switch.

what's home++? what's the advantage of having it and how do you switch to it?

Home++ is a home screen replacement app ... lets you have up to 7 screens. Most of these screenshots on here are using the app. From the ones I have tried (dxTop, pandahome and home++) home++ is the fastest at scrolling and everything and its free. I believe all of the apps allow a dock at the bottom and it lets you have access to the phone and certain things on any screen. DxTop and Panda let you customize what icons exactly you put in the dock but home++ only lets you pick from a few.

so just search for H++ from the app store? Wouldn't having 7 screens slow things down also?

Nope, it's a great app, just make sure you enable Persistant mode in the performance options.

what is persistence mode?

I also have another question (kind of off topic) but do all these widgets eat up the battery faster? Also, if I DL a lot of apps are they all running all the time, hence further eating up the battery?

The widgets can, yes. Depending on the length of time you have them check for updates (Weather updates, Twitter updates, etc).

Persistent mode just has Home++ keep everything in memory so it runs much smoother. I never realized it until today and the performance is night and day.
