I've spent the last 4 hours building this concept up in Photoshop and so far I've got a few apps themed and ready to go but implementing the icons on the desktop with the actual icons on the phone is going to be tricksy.
What you see on there is part of the wallpaper itself since I tried making those real icons and applying via Folderorganizer/LauncherPro and failed. I guess they don't like super elongated icons, haha. This is my best strategy.
What I'm recreating is the ever-awesome Halo:Reach look. I'm going for a multiplayer type theme here. Hopefully I can finish it up this weekend. I created everything from scratch except for the wallpaper and app icons on the wallpaper itself.
In the first screen I'm showing you the full scope of the wallpaper that would be visible by my phone. 3 screens divided up from 960pixel width gives me a 480px center screen and 2 240px outer screens. The radar being a modified version of a clock from the Analog Clock Collection widget (and it works, too!). The red dots are the hour and minute hands and move like enemies on the radar, and the dock is from the shields/health bar. App drawer icon is the Noble team logo and text icons created by me with the Reach gradient effect on them.
The second screen shows this math with a simple shade overtop the center screen.
Let me know what you guys think and if you care I'll explain a little more of how I went about creating this and/or keeping you updated! Thanks!
Remember, it's a WIP so don't be too harsh on me!
Darn good lookin!!! Good Job so far!!!
