Well if you're using LauncherPro simply long press and resize to your desired size. If you're on ADW, I think it's the same or you might be able to specify what size (4x1 etc) when you go to add the widget to your screen. Let me know.

Yea, with LauncherPro all you have to do is long press it and a resize box will appear and you just resize it to the desired size...... I will upload screenshots soon

What icons are those on your launcher?

some icons that I ginned up. I have a pretty big set of small plain white Icons that I use in my Icon creation. I added the "black glow" using a Gaussian blur

The left and right contain widgets and some more applications that I use often.
