I recently switched over the Droid X from the Droid 1 and i created these home-screens but i figured i would share these over here considering it may give some of you some ideas!

Here I am using
1. Desktop Visualizer ((to add pictures from SD card to the home-screen As Icons) Icons Included In Zip)
2. Launcher Pro Plus Bookmarks Widget
3. Launcher Pro Plus Calendar Widget
4. Launcher Pro Plus Message Widget
5. Launcher Pro Plus People Widget
6. Launcher Pro Plus With Custom Icons I Made (Included In Zip)
7. Beautiful Widgets With Sense UI Skin From XDA Developers Forum
8. Signal Strength Widget
9. BattStatt Widget

I have included a zip file with icons ALL icons I used on my home-screen, Stock Photos I Used to make those icons, A Few Screen-Shots, And a tutorial In PDF form For Photoshop CS5 that will walk you through how i created the icons and such, so you can make your own. I will also take requests for icons for a short while please PM me to send a request with an email address i can send the finished ones to.

I'd love to reply pm but as a newbie I don't know how! Could we get a category for"Fun & Games"?

@Scott, You don't need him to do a "fun and games" one, you can do it yourslef very easily . You just have to download the desktop visualizer app, and then somewhere on the web, locate an image that you would like to use as the icon for that sub section. All desktop visualizer does is allow you to use images as your shortcut icons. You can make any kind of shortcut you want, lots of possibilities with that app. Give it a go

Edit: Also, to send a pm ("private message" just in case you didnt already know) just click on someones name, and a little menu will pop up that will let you do it.

Try Random curiosity, or other anime blogs. They cover each episode quite thoroughly, and cover quite an extensive range of anime. They also dont delete them, so you can get quite old ones as well.
Just google them.

Is this a rooted only feature?

yeah for the most part it is.... unrooted you have the ability to duplicate the bar on the bottom with launcher pro, you wont be able to have the shading on the widgets because thats part of the theme that requires root but all of those either come on the phone or are in the market.

left screen: pure calendar widget
middle: beautiful widgets with the weather icon hidden. Then weather forcast on the bottom.
right: google news and weather, power control widget, music mod widget(rooted only)

the background im using for launcher pro can be downloded here credit goes to calebv2 Right click save as.

The word icons came from Manups simple collection

Eh, it was on page like 143, so can't really blame you for not reading the whole thing. I only knew the site had changed because I went for those icons myself a few weeks ago and had to dig through the thread to find the link, otherwise I'd be just as stuck.

And to put it back on topic (and because its been awhile since I last posted and I've completely changed my layout), my screens. I just wish I could get a prettier tapatalk widget (and maybe something slightly more useful than a faster shortcut to the forum).

Changed themes, layouts, and phones since my last post on this thread, so I figured I'd do an update since I spent some time on my desktop tonight. This is the most customizing I've done since I stopped spending hours and hours messing with themes and decided to rock my x stock, but I like the way it turned out.
