OK, another noob question...which I'm sure has been answered somewhere in these 450+ pages...

Is there a way to change the top info bar (color, icons font, etc.) without rooting the phone?

ETA: I'm currently using Launcer Pro

you best bet would be use a home replacement like home++, GDE.. .... ETC

while they wont change the color they do give you the option to hide the notification bar

Last night I installed the latest version 4.0 of Ultimate Droid Extreme, it took quite a bite of time (since I'm at work) but I finally finish what I think it will be my theme/Rom for a while (I hope so!!)

I'm using ADW Launcher with Senses Theme (the colorful one) and (sticker album theme for the last 4 snapshots)

Pure messager
Pure calendar
Liquid battery icon from haledroid

I removed all the labels from my icons to try to make them look as clean as possible. I really like how fast you can change themes using ADW, less than 30 seconds and Voila!! no reboots necessary

If you ever had an iPhone you'd know the point of folders. Do not take them for granted! I've set up a folder for productivity aps, for "settings" type aps and for entertainment aps. I also use the favorite contacts folder (awesome preset folder). They keep your screens neat and organized, and leave more room for widgets.
The iphone 4 OS now supports folders.dancedroid

Please do tell. I know you have LauncherPro Plus which I have, but how did you get the awesomeness on that screen? The icons in the setting screen are great. Rooted? Which Rom? Thanks.

The custom icons in the menu pop-up are from a theme called NexTheme which can only be installed if your rooted. The LauncherPro setting icon was done by myself...I had to tear apart the LaucncherPro .apk and make the changes myself. The ROM I'm using is BuglessBeast v.4 Froyo.
