Finally got around to playing with my desktop again. Sorry for the two different backgrounds. I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like the best with this theme. Too many things to take screenies of, this is just a sampling of stuff. Now to decide on some widgets from the other screens...

Wow nice! What are those tabs on the left side of your screen? (Call, SMS, Mail)
Also, the "Social" and "Shiz" tabs. Is that all included with your ROM or is it a home replacement?

I believe that is sweeter home? It takes a lot of time to actually do that though, I dont have the time but it sure does look awesome!

How stable is it? I have heard mixed reactions to SH2.

I stopped using it during the spring because it was causing me too many issues and the dev didn't seem to be updating it at all. I decided to check it out again recently and lo and behold they had gone through quite a few updates in the past couple of months.

The current version works extremely well for me. No force closes yet *knock on wood*. In fact any issues that I have are always with the newest froyo roms, not SH. The lagginess that used to plague the app seem to be gone for the most part.

This is actually the longest I've used SH without uninstalling it lol.

So after seeing the amazing screenshots of Whiterat's phone using Sweeter Home 2, I decided to give it a try. This is by no means "my" theme, I'm using one of the loaded themes that Sweeter Home comes with, I think its call Simple Modified Green. This is how my home screen looks now.

It's in the settings menu of the text app you are using

Where do you get Sweeter Home 2, I typed it in my Market & didn't see it

It's been in beta foreeeever. It is finally stable enough now though that they could consider a market release. There are some possible additions that would make sweeter home even sweeter. For example, I think they're throwing around the idea of making some sort of layer or screen that "sticks" so that when you swipe from one desktop page to another, that layer moves along with it (thus giving you the option to make something like a dock).

I am so happy to see people's interest in sweeter home. It doesn't get the attention it deserves. I know it can be a daunting undertaking but if anyone has any questions just give me a holler.

I would love to design my own, but I do really need some guidance on Sweeter home design, its kind of confusing. Do you have any recommendation about anything else I do need to know or extra apps/software that I will need to be able to design something usable/stable.
