Since I am just getting into modding... here's mine. I love the little Android icon as you can see:

Smoked Glass 6.0.1 (Amazing ROM) and my custom metamorph stuff. Hexed eri.xml to customize operator text. Have not figured out how to successfully change elements of framework-res.apk without using metamorph - I can change elements of other APKs with no issue..

If you ever had an iPhone you'd know the point of folders. Do not take them for granted! I've set up a folder for productivity aps, for "settings" type aps and for entertainment aps. I also use the favorite contacts folder (awesome preset folder). They keep your screens neat and organized, and leave more room for widgets.

My setup

I come from the 'dark side' WM 6.5, I've got a tilt 2 and find it OK. If you don't mind daily resets, lagging, and freezes. I have a SPB shell and it gives me 3 or 5 home screens. I have it set up with the center page showing nearly all 'phone' functions at one time.

top down I have left to right weather and clock widget,
email messaging, phone history, voice mail, and dialer.
agenda showing two weeks
calculator, note pad, favorite app of the day(changes per whim) blue tooth/wifi, google
the bottom line is part of the shell and you're stuck with it,
tile widget (shows 11 screens for fast navigation) launcher, contacts, menu

Can you do similar with the Droid?

PS: I've stole several Droid background/wall paper images they're the best.
