Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I just skinned the landscape background just now.... since people wanted this blue audio manager. I DID NOT skin the small widget. I am going out of town for the weekend and might get around to it later. I am not 100% happy with it I'd like it darker, but oh well it looks 10x's better than stock.

and a quick how to install this bad boy.

my instructions are for Rooted Droid users and you will use Root Explorer and Terminal

copy the apk from your sdcard to your /system/app/ folder using root explorer you will have to change to R/W in order to do this. after its copied to /system/app long press on the file and select permissions
make your changes so that it looks like this call called a" chmod 644"

          Read      Write    Execute
User      X             X
Group   X
Others   X

open terminal
su
sync
reboot

you now should have a much cooler audio widget

they are the IBox collections on market they are free but you need better cut there are three IBox sets wait i think they made a fourth now

Not that big of a deal to me. always caused more problems than their worth. Though are they interactive? Ik they don't work without the 2.1 launcher so far, but I was if they changed that. Also their now called droidmod, not sholes anymore.

Where did you get those icons?

I had a similar question a few days ago, but had to do some investigating on my own. I found that I had to make my own icons (similar, but blue) using Photoshop.

If you've got Photoshop, some patience to learn and play around (took me an hour to get the hang of it), you can make all of your own icons with this look.

Refer to the iBOX_Carbon_iconPSD.rar file from the following thread:
iBox Carbon

Once you create your icons, use Better Cut to throw them onto your desktop.

If you've got Photoshop, some patience to learn and play around (took me an hour to get the hang of it), you can make all of your own icons with this look.

Refer to the iBOX_Carbon_iconPSD.rar file from the following thread:

Once you create your icons, use Better Cut to throw them onto your desktop.

The icons have blue ones just like the black ones I have my screen. So that's nice if you need/want blues.

That's Beautiful Widget Pack 2's Sms widget. Not sure if it's in the market anymore as HTC sent Tama (the dev) a C&D.

Does anyone know of a widget similar to that? I've also seen that similar style hwidget used on the new home apparently "Tat home"

The ones that require touch screen interaction do not ineract. The music interacting ones do.

how did you get the 2.0.0 lock screen?...bc i have installed a .zip through sprecovery to my bb 7.7 and it works but its not the exact one like yours is it doesnt have the rotary circles on it just the icons for lock n volume

i also been seeing a lot of messaging widgets...what are they i like the white one that looks like its a stack of papers kinda lol

Here is the sms widget...I just pulled it off the 2.1 ROM. So I don't know if it will work on 2.01 or not.....but it can't hurt to try. just change it to a .apk and I will assume you will have to push it to /system/app. But it might just install by using a app manager????? Give it a try and let us know.

Got a little carried away with the NC State stuff.....but I love it. I am using the Launcher2 that has the browser and phone buttons built in. I have gone in and changed it as you can see. The launch buttons are essentially hidden now for them.....so touching on the bottom left will open the phone and on the bottom right will open the browser. I have made all the widgets to a transparent background......to make them feel more like they are integrated into the screen. Let me know if anyone has a question about what is what or if you want any of the widgets, etc.
