I don't use one. Had the phone for two months now. Still like the first day.

I have scratches on my screen protector and ive had it on since day 1. Do you realize our fascinate is $600 full retail price?! So take care of it or you'll regret it.

I use one. I applied it last December. It is still on and free do cuts, scrapes, or smudges. I purchased it the day I purchased my Droid. It has worked very well for me.

I am an extremely heavy user. (Drain 3 or 4 batteries a day) I have had a couple touch screens before this one. Last a blackberry storm with heavy use, and I don't know what everyone is trying to protect. I figure if the screen gets scratched then time for an upgrade. I have not had any Scratchs show up on my palm, my blackberry or this.

I see at least one thread a day with someone "belly-aching" about scratches on their phone. IMO my phone is too valuable to leave anything to chance so I use a case as well as a screen protector. A quality screen protector will not affect your phone's usability and will be practically unnoticeable.

For two months...I didn't use a protector...no problems. However I now have one that doesn't make my screen so oily looking. Fingerprints are easier to clean. I got the one from the vzw website

Must be nice not to care about a $600 phone. I worry about laying it to hard on a pillow. I do all I can to make sure my phones look as good as the day I got it.
