Could Anyone give a list of custom home screen launchers? I want to try a few but there is no category where they are listed together?

Launcher Pro and ADW are your most popular ones out right now. There are a few more but they escape my mind atm.

I use launcher pro plus or adw ex myself, but there us also and I have tried too; is GDE; ahome, open home, cut home... And more try typing home replacements our replacement homes or something. How that helps alittle.

Try searching AppBrain for "home launchers". It will give you a list of what's out there. If you use AppBrain from your pc, it can give you a QR code that you can scan with google goggles or bar code scanner to launch the market.
