screen not turning on?

is anyone else having this problem where your screen doesnt turn on when pressing the power button or it takes forever to load the screen. just got the phone on the 9th just wondering if i should take it in but then i might a stupid referb. thought it was maybe a way they save battery life but i dont think so and its really annoying.

Since the phone just got released I'm assuming you will get another new one. Don't think there will be refurbished ones yet.

That just happened to me for the first time about 20 minutes ago! The phone was still working, as it vibrated a couple times signifying it was still receiving email.. However, I had to pull the battery to reset it and get it back.. I'm thinking this is more a software problem than a hardware issue, as I've also had reboot issues while using Bluetooth voice commands :-(
