Screen rotation lag?

Just got my Bionic yesterday (and just registered here) and have been absolutely loving the handset thus far. The only problem I've encountered is that, when I go to my texts and turn my screen longways it takes 5+ seconds to register the movement and change the orientation. Not a huge deal but can be quite annoying, especially when it wasn't an issue at all on my previous handset (Droid 2). Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions as to remedy it? I don't see any kind of calibration option...

Sounds to me that you need to calibrate your compass.

Thanks for the response, Rob. I distinctly recall the compass calibration feature on the D2 but it seems to be absent on the Bionic. Are you referring to some other way of calibrating it? If so, could you please specify how to do so?

I can't really speak to it since I don't have one. But for sure it needs to be calibrated as I've seen this before. Sorry I could not be of much help.
