Screen lights up but does not boot

My droid screen lights up but does not boot. This may be a problem with Bugless Beuty. Any way to restore the phone? Battery pull doesnt work.
Edit:Recovery mode by holding x does not work.

Recovery doesn't work? That might be a BIG issue. How are you trying to get into recovery? "holding x?" Remember, start with the phone off, then hold x AND power.

Perhaps the first official brick? That blows man. Don't admit to Verizon you modded the phone, just tell them it stopped working. Maybe they won't look into it.

Ive booted into recovery many times, thats how im doing it, does nothing. Also, i tried booting into safe mode which also does not work. I was simply browsing the web, doing nothing special at all, it shut off, and is now a brick. Im going to the verizon store tomorrow, i called and they said as long as theres no damage and the water sensor isnt tripped i should get a knew one. If they can make it boot even better but i highly doubt it. Kinda ironic that BUGLESS beauty most likely had something to do with the probably first ever true BRICK of a droid.
