SBF to 4.5.602 Droid X / Milestone X

Ok, I have a Droid X, now a Milestone X. I took the OTA update to 4.5.621 on the Droid X prior to realizing I would be unable to root. I recently took a Linux downgrade / upgrade process to convert from the Droid X 4.5.621 to now having the Milestone X 4.5.604. My question would be is would it be possible and safe to SBF to the 4.5.602 from the Milestone? I would of course use the same SBF process through Linux but wasnt sure if anyone has tried this yet after taking the OTA to 4.5.621. Just not a big fan of the current SBF and looking to get back to the original and keep a root.

Thanks everyone for the time and help.

No, unfortunately you can only go back and forth between .621 and 604. I'd personally get off of milestone and flash 621 back via rsd lite. It can be rooted directly now.

Ok awesome, I wasnt able to see anything where 621 was able to be rooted yet, any insight on the rooting process with 621?

Ok, here you go [How To] Root 4.5.621 with magic md5 (does not require Milestone SBF)

All of the instructions are in the thread I linked, but basically what you will do it download the file. Burn it to a disc, boot your computer from that disc and follow the on screen instructions.

You may also find this post helpful. Important Info for .621 Update! It gives a basic rundown of .621 plus in the second post there are a ton of links for you to follow including how to make your phone a true x again instead of a milestone without having to SBF.
