I use the Droid X a long time ago, but after installing the firmware update .605, there was a problem. When playing a video format. Avi or. Mp4 phone hangs up. Stuck happens if I try to scroll the video forward or backward. Tested on different files and different players, including built-in player, MoboPlayer and others.
This problem does not exist on Froyo, but on all other stock firmwares phone hangs up. I put firmware with the aid of the method described here:Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems . I tried stock 4.5.596 Gingerbread, 4.5.602 Gingerbread and 4.5.605 Gingerbread, but the phone does not hang when scrolling video only on 2.3.340 FroYo.
I tried to format SD card, do wipe the phone and cleaning the cache, but nothing helped.
Need a solution, maybe someone already faced with such problem.
