question. if i unroot/unbrick by flashing .246 through rsdlight, would i be back on the ota update track? or will there still be something preventing me to install any new ota updates?

more info: i rooted my old bionic, when an ota update came out, i believe it was gb, i could download it, but when it was installing it would fail. sent that bionic back to verizon and got a new one. i just dont want it happening again, being unable to install next ota, which should be JB?

If you FXZ 246 you're good to go.

Load it up in RSD Lite and flash it. Warning....it will reset your phone to factory defaults. This means it will wipe your data and internal memory.

uhh im feelin noobish lol. do you have a link to the latest rsd lite and moto drivers? i installed rsd and the drivers from a different link. not sure whats wrong, but rsd lite doesnt recognize my bionic, nor does the moto drivers show in device manager. thnx

hmm moto drivers still dont show up, installed it twice. have no idea what to do lol. any ideas?

Boot the phone in AP Fastboot mode. Power off, hold Volume Down, and hit power on. If that doesn't work, then read my faq:
