I made an unwise decision to try and replace the glass on my cracked screen using a kit off eBay. I possibly put too much force into it when removing the glass which I heated to about 170degrees faranheit. It looks like part of the LCD screen is damaged in the top left corner and a darker layer of film is still attached to the removed glass. Does this render it useless? It's looking like I'll have to buy a new digitizer and replace it. Also found the top speaker come out and the buttons came loose when I removed the glass. Please could somebody advise me on where I went wrong and where I can find a cheap screen and LCD digitizer? Thanks
