I should point out for some of these screenshots that "Cell standby" indicates instances when the cell radio is not being used, i.e. idle. I don't see any WiFi listed; which tells me that these are times of idle usage, primarily.

To get the best sense of usage, Android System, Screen and/or other apps should be at the top. That's assuming you're not using WiFi. But even then WiFi is usually third or so on the list.

I bought the 4500 Mah extended battery for my S3 with a back cover cause its a larger battery. On Gorilla gadgets!! Color match up wasnt perfect, no big deal but the phone had a comfy shape to grip and was slightly heavier and felt solid. No problem whatsoever. No regrets and excellent multiple day usage with out recharging.. Great for a weekend travel!

Yea I'm not sure I use my phone very heavy. The screen is always on texting, fb etc. It would be nice to have a phone that keeps up with me. Also for 8 bucks on eBay I could get a 4500 mah extended battery. Seems like a pretty good deal and would not need two batteries.

It's impossible to make a good and high quality extended battery for 8 dollars retail price.
If you're really after quality and long performance (400-600 recharge cycles battery life), customer support and good brand relationship, check our stuff of Seidio.
Other brands mostly use cheap materials to make their batteries and they last for around a 100 recharge cycles, add the unpredictable behavior of the battery.

Thanks for the link to Gorilla Gadgets. I found a dual battery/phone charger for the S3 somewhat like one I had for HTC Incredible and Rezound. Now I can charge my standard battery along with the extended battery I have in the phone and carry around a spare battery just in case.

The price on Gorilla was very competative!

How reliable are these after market batteries? I'm looking at one on eBay by "sporting persistence " which is standard size, 2800mah,nfc, and 20$.

Will it work???
