The scuttlebutt on the street is that the international version of the Motorola Droid RAZR will likely begin receiving its Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update rollout today. According to the source of this story, the reason why it was delayed for so long is rather interesting. It was actually because of T-Mobile. The story goes that T-Mo was looking to do their own customize the ROM to their liking, which gummed up the process. Now that Moto is owned by Google, they were having none of that and it got pushed through.
Regardless of the why-fors and what-nots, it looks like owners of the XT910 might be treated to some ICS tastiness very soon. Start looking for the update.
