Rooted Factory Reset

I kinda looked around and couldn't really find an answer to my question. I am wondering what exactly a factory reset through sprecovery will do?? Will it delete my theme and bring me back to the bare rom or does it just delete some apps?? Just curious how to get back to the bare rom without digging through all my backups??

It does the same thing as a factory data reset, so no it won't remove your theme. The easiest way is to just reflash the ROM without wiping.
