This ROM isn't showing significant battery savings over my stock ROM, and is even worse when I compare it to using Juice Defender on my stock ROM. Is there something I am missing? I looked into the tweaker for the CPU control but all the numbers are standard. I thought ROMs had better battery savings over stock. Note: I only get about a day out of an extended battery pack, and it is mostly not in use from 0100-1430. This is about the same performance as my stock ROM. If I enable Juice Defender on my stock ROM I can get about 2 days out of it. I put Juice Defender on this ROM because it is leaps and bounds better than stock, but I thought I was able to get the same performance out of it without Juice Defender. I must be missing something.

The messaging app also crashes when trying to send picture messages. I boot into my stock ROM to send the picture messages. I also noticed some problems when I had snapchat open. The screen would flicker green and purple and it would be very jittery.

Anyone else having problems with Beautiful Widgets under this ROM? Cant get it to display the right time and cannot get the weather up. It just shows a ? mark for the weather and location. Date and time are both incorrect. Trying to update location tells me that the location is disabled. Anyone have similar issues?

No. I just tested it on the latest update and it works fine. Correct time, location, etc...

Some updates were released through OTA Updater but the changelogs were never posted here. So as one of the devs for the rom, I decided it would probably be best to post the changelogs for everyone to see.

Blurry 2.4.1 Changelog:

-Expandable Volume Panel added*
-Removed white/grey bar from notification pulldown
-Reverted back to stock messenger*
-AOSP Browser added
-Flashable zips for StockTheme and BlurryThemeRemoveToggle in sdcard/blurryzips

-Wallpapers in sdcard/blurryzips

*If you would still like quick reply popup for texting you can either download SMS Popup from the market (Just remember to turn off notifications in stock messenger) or you can always download a third party texting app from the market.*

*The third slider in the expanded volume panel is notifications. Ive double and triple checked the smali and it points to the correct image but it shows up as the ringer icon anyways. It baffles me.*

In case OTA Updater isnt working due to server down time here is an alternate mirror for 2.4.1 patch.

Didnt get the OTA update notification?

If OTA Updater says your OTA Updater ID is Blurry_JB please take the 2.4.1 Update. Even if you are already on 2.4.1. We changed the OTA IDs and you need to reapply the update before it will let you download 2.5. Or download and flash from the link below.

After updating to 2.4.1, OTA Updater may notify you to update to 2.4.1 instead of 2.5, just click cancel and click Check for Updates. It will switch to 2.5.

So how does this new init.d governor script work?

SetCPU and other utilities for settings CPU frequency will not work due to the way this init.d script works. It has built in profiles similar to SetCPU. It works as follows:

Note: There is a 10 second timer when the screen turns off. If turned back on within 10 seconds, it will not apply the sleep frequencies.

Battery Discharging
Battery percentage greater than 15%

*Notes for Overclock.zip in /sdcard/BlurryMods*
The overclock zip will replace the init.d governor script with a new one for overclocking. 5 slot Bionics will OC to 1.25Ghz, 4 slot Bionics will OC to 1.2Ghz. Sleep frequencies stay the same however.

Whats coming down the pipe next?

The next update will have the following:
-New boot animation
-Blurry icon pack
-Slightly altered lockscreen
-Inverted Google Now
-Fix webtop so lapdocks work properly
-Anything else I think of or run across

Hey first off, I really like the Blurry ROM. However, I'm having an issue getting the Play Store to work which is preventing me from being able to use several apps I've purchased. Is there a specific Gapp file I need to download and install with Blurry? I see the Play Store, but when I click on it, it says "App isn't Installed". Thanks

Update says there is an update 2.4.1, but says I am on 2.5. When I try to download the update, it says there is an error.

I installed 2.4, then 2.4.1, then 2.5 in that order. Wiped every time. Phone also seems to be somewhat laggy and I get a random Google Play has stopped working error.

Any ideas?
