---Other Notes---

The following apps are NOT included as part of this ROM. Please download them from the Android Market for the latest versions:
  • Google Maps
  • GMail
  • YouTube
  • Swype (this is the URL to sign up for the beta)

This is, what I consider, a feature-complete ROM. At this point, I'm heading to bug-hunt mode. If you want to know what it looks like, look at stock Gingerbread, and you'll know. ;)

Also, the large version number jump is due to, what I feel is, a significant change from the Alpha. This was originally going to be version 0.8.0, but being that I had to go back through and re-do pretty much all of the work I had done, I decided to bump the version again. In the process, I learned new things and incorporated them the best I could.

Hey, nice job on the beta, its buttery smooth, but there's two problems keeping me from using this rom. They are that the market and music apps keep force closing. I tried reformatting and reinstalling but nothing worked.

very glad to see continued progress for the d2g! i'm new to the android world and had no idea how untapped the phone was until i bought it, but i've seen more than a few people bustin tail to get us some roms! Thank you! will test when i get the chance :)

Looking into it ASAP. Link for download has been removed until this is solved. Sorry for the trouble, guys.

I had the same problem with the market. other than that it worked great, very very smooth. no problems besides that. Hope you get it fixed Fennux.

Market is driving me nuts right now. Only version I've been able to get to work for some reason is 2.2.7 and earlier. Anything newer, and it crashes. I'm about to pull my hair out.

The audio thing is/should be fixed, however.

I am all ears for this ROM Fennux, BTW Fenom is a great name... I will be waiting for the market issue to be resolved and flash this baby............

Would this be the first total blur less rom for D2g?

No, that honor would go to Fission. You could consider this to be the spiritual successor to Fission in a way.

Blur is still there behind the scenes, unfortunately. We can't 100% remove it until/if we ever get access to the kernel. Blur is hard-coded into the kernel and bootloader, and without certain things, the phone will just infinitely bootloop. Believe me, I know. I've SBF'ed my "dev phone" about 50 times in the last week trying to narrow down what I can and cannot remove.

Have you tried adding the market as a seperate zip. For example the way I have had to do it for libertys epic blue and infinate caos.
