Saw the thread about the official 2.2 update, and saw my same question being asked, but no answers.

Will the dinc auto update without any issues if you've rooted with unrevoked 3? Will it maintain root if it does?

I have never used Unrevoked but usually when you root a device and/or running a Custom Rom it modifies the OTAKeys in such a way that over the air updates will not reach your phone.

Maybe someone with an Incredible can chime in, but that has been my experience.

hmm ok thanks. can anyone confirm/deny?

if it wont update, would i be better off trying to unroot so it will autoupdate or loading up froyo+sense manually?
