mentioned using phantom-powered mike in an earlier post, like my favorite of the many microphones I own, a Rode NT-1. Sweet mike.
So I used the XLR adapter, my portable phantom power supply, the NT-1, and the Droid 2 running the Hi-Q recorder app. A COMPLETE RECORDING STUDIO IN A BOX!
Works perfect! Attached is a photo of the mike, phantom power supply, and XLR adapter (see earlier post for better pic of adapter) and HERE is an MP3 of the result:
