Roaming and data in canada

Going to Canada tomorrow, what should I turn off and on? I will be able to use Wireless, but how do I keep the 3G and data off so I dont get charged a ton? Thanks.

if you only want to turn off data but still be able to send and receive calls and texts go to settings -> battery and data manager -> Data delivery -> uncheck data enabled

if you do not want to be able to make and receive calls just turn on airplane mode. (hold the power button on the top of the phone and then click airplane mode)

Under either option you will be able to turn on wifi if there is an available network and still connect to the internet

You can also uncheck data roaming. SETTINGS > DATA MANAGER > DATA DELIVERY > DATA ROAMING.

If you do that before you leave, you'll have data until the phone enters a roaming area.

Incidentally, speaking from experience, make sure your credit card doesn't charge a surcharge for international currency exchange before u use it.
