Removing email without phone contacts

Hi,

When I first got my Motorola Droid, the email that I synced was my mother's gmail account (since I didn't have one and I figured it wouldn't matter since she never uses that account and I just need an email to store contact info in when I get new numbers). However, flash forward now after a semester of college and getting an actual gmail address of my own, I'd like to delete her email from the phone but I'm pretty sure I still have numbers attached to her email and if I remove hers, according to the phone, I will lose contacts that were under her email. So, my question is, how can I remove her email while deciding which numbers to keep from her email on my phone? Where can I see the list of numbers stored under her email and can I transfer those numbers to my email?

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Go into gmail on a computer and export the contacts from your mothers account, then just import that file into your gmail.
