Remove ICS leak

f I get a Maxx with the ICS leak on it, and want to go back to stock, how is that done?
Supposedly, it has not been rooted.
I am on two posts, as I wasn't sure where to post this.

If it has an ICS Leak I'm pretty sure it had to be rooted. There are about 8 ICS leaks out now, only 2 of them can be restored to stock gingerbread. The .75 and .79 leaks can be restored using the Utility in the above post or RSD.

it depends on the leak. is the leak is version .85 or higher, then you will not be able to go back to 181 (gingerbread)

if the phone is on .75 or .79 leak, then you can fastboot back to .181 (gingerbread) using matt's utility version 1.6.

here's how to do it.

1. download the utility
2. put your phone on AP fastboot mode. (turn off the phone. hold both volume keys and turn the power on. use the volume down to toggle through and volume up to select.)
3. on matt's utility, select the first option to fastboot back to .181(gingerbread)
4. follow the instructions on the utility

that should be it. again, this will only work if you are on .75 or .79 leak; otherwise, you will not be able to boot in to .181 (gingerbread)
