Reducing haptic feedback

I searched as long and hard as I could and couldn't find an answer. is there a way to reduce the vibrations on my dx? I played with my brothers og droid and his feedback was almost non existant.

to clarify what im asking, can I change the intensity of the haptic feedback?

No, I've never seen anything that could do that. Just on/off
