Haptic feedback issue

On a previous thunderbolt I used, the vibration was strong and felt solid to the touch. I discovered a difference when I exchanged it (for other reasons). The one Im using now, the vibration is very weak and buzzes when I touch the screen. Does anyone know of an app or program that enhances or reduces haptic feedback? It makes this high-end device feel kind of cheap.
