Reception absolutely sucks

Very very disappointed and a little agitated by the terrible reception . In a good. Strong signal area never had a problem with other phones and I'm lucky to get 2 bars . Inside a buildingi get no bars. I can deal with a lot of things but it needs to work as a phone 1st.

Why is it that I'm the only one that is constantly seeing 2 bars more than my OG Droid? lol. In the park behind my house between two mountains my Droid 1 would have 1 bar if that, this phone had 2 and 3. At my college when I had 0 bars inside a cement building, I have 1-2 on the Thunderbolt. Weird?
