Reassigning ringtones to contacts not working.

I have Ringdroid for making ringtones. I can make them, save them and play them. When I open my phone go to contacts and pick a contact, I go to edit options. For Ringtone, if it is set to default, I click it to change it, pick my new Ringtone and click save, but it doesn't change to the new ringtone. Anyone else have this issue before and if so how did you fix it?
