Re_receaving texts

All of my messages are being resent to my phone. basically its showing texts from months ago and cycling through until it gets to today's texts and stops. it shows the date received as today at whatever time that particular message came. they come in at usually 30 or 40 a minuet then stops for like 45 seconds and then 30 or 40 more...

U using the stock messaging app ornaments 3rd party app? If its stock then go to settings/applications/manage applications/ all tab and scroll down to the messaging app and clear data/cache. You can do the same with a 3rd party app.

standard messaging app. i cleared data and cache and forced stop but it didn't work.
