Razr Maxx Constant Switching 4g to 3g

My Razr Maxx keeps going to 3g mode. This seems to happen all the time, just about everywhere I go. When it goes to 3g and I toggle airplane mode, or reboot, my 4g comes back immediately.

This is supposed to be a 4g phone. I can understanding going to 3g when there's no available 4g. Is this happening to anyone else? Any ideas?
