Razr Maxx Battery Issues?

So we still have the giant battery drops... Just had the worst one I've seen yet. Dropped from 70%+ to under 20% in a matter of seconds...

Might be hard to see even, but it goes straight down on the left.

Ouch! Have you tried charging your phone while its off? Turn off at 1% and charge to 100% then turn it back on. Do this two or three times and it should return to normal. If it doesn't then you need a battery replacement.

Are you rooted? You may want to install safe strap 3.11 and run a custom ROM to see if that helps. I am running carbon ROM and absolutely love it.

Yes I am rooted. Currently running CM10.1 and I get those big drops on this rom and on stock. Maybe I'll try carbon and see what it does me.

Good Lord I have never seen a drop that drastic. So wifi is not your only culprit. I am not rooted so am of no help with that or any ROMs that you run.

Question for all out there. Does anyone else notice a big difference between their ROM battery life and stock battery life? If I switch from my ROM to my stock there is about 30% more battery on my stock than my rom

What ROM are you on? Mine is about the same.

So I think it might just be a bad battery. At least I've fixed it now so it doesn't drain too bad when the screen is off. I've had my phone on since yesterday morning, and its still at 18%. I've only had about 2 hours of screen on time though, so it probably isn't as good as it should be. I'll hopefully get a new battery in the next week or two.

Im using black widow jb. Im not sure what im doing wrong

Could you tell me where you found this carbon ROM? Haven't been able to find it.

Thanks, got carbon, but it doesn't look like I have a music playing app. No Apollo or regular one. Anyone know how to get this?

I tried out black bean. Im gonna see how battery life is, but i think i like black widow better...
