Razr Maxx Battery Issues?

Ohhh forgot to ask...have you rebooted since you uninstalled that app?

Yes I did reboot because the phone died completely and I had to turn it back on. The tv guide thing is gone from where it was before, but it seems like that wasn't an issue. Here is a screenshot of that Wake Lock Detector app. I don't know if its enough info yet, as its only been an hour and a half or so.

Can you post a stock battery usage screen shot not the gsam? It might give us a little more info.

It still says the same thing. Kernel, then keep awake has over an hour since I last unplugged it (a couple hours ago). Here's another crazy battery life picture.

Your wifi is strong. Your phone signal is weird. The phone has been kept awake but really not a huge period of time. Mine had been kept awake over 9 hours on one day and I did still have battery left although not nearly as much as usual.

This is mine that I just did. Wifi has been on but my mobile signal is all green and yours is busted up. So looking at that screen, I don't think the phone being awake is what is sapping the battery. The awake time in 14 hours is really not bad. Yeah WLD does tell you it takes a little bit to amass statistics. When Gmail was running amok, it showed that immediately because it was using like 45% of the battery. Turned out to be a sync that I had started manually and didn't stop when I realized it was an account that Yahoo groups went too. So that was user error on my part that time.

I would like to see a screen shot from fresh full charge to about 70-80%.i think we would get a better idea of what is going on.

Thank you - I am very happy with them! Not quite as good at work, but still pretty awesome using the smart action. I am loving my Maxx again! That was a long road but it got figured out! I have been off work since Wednesday and have used wifi exclusively. Man I wish we had wifi at work lol. I would only have to charge every three days if we did lol.

I do believe I have my replacement straightened out too. I think a couple of apps I had installed were giving me false battery readings. Battery monitor widget pro was leaving a file on my sd card that the system didn't seem to like so well. I'm back to using gsam it seems to be happy now.

That is great news! Funny how one file that it doesn't like will take everything out. Android develops attitude problems really quick lol.

I'll upload one once I get it, didn't get to charge my phone last night so it might be a little while.

I have found doing a pain in the ass..... Factory Reset, has worked. However I only brought back the apps that I needed. And then I brought back the ones I use for social networking and games. I wanted to know if some of then where draining my battery. I truly believe, that one should clear out there phone before changing over. I don't care what anyone says. It works for me, even though it could be faith healing. Battery is back. I wish you the best of luck.
