Not necessarily true. Everyone has a different experience with battery life. It depends on how much you use your phone, how much ch you have running, etc. I bought a gs3 on Tuesday and I'm happy with the life so far. Today I am at 14 hours off the charger, with lte on all day and have 19% battery left. I had about an hour of on-screen time. Yesterday when I had it on 3g the entire day, I had almost 3 hours of on-screen time and 16 hours off the charger and I still had at least 30% battery left.
There's no question the Maxx is going to beat out any other phone. With my Maxx, I was able to consistently go 2 days without charging. There was one day where I went 3+ because I was turning off my data unless I needed Internet.
Lk1730, make sure your phone data is not set to global but set to LTE/CDMA...it will make a huge difference on battery and signal. Go to settings --->more... (under data usage) ---> mobile networks ---> network mode ---> select LTE/CDMA.
I hard reboot my droid x all the time by removing the battery. How will I manage with an unremovable battery? I'm definitely upgrading to the razr hd maxx.
I think you can force a reboot by pressing power and volume down/up and holding until the phone reboots. Something to that effect. I got Razr M and it wouldn't boot straight out of the box and that's what I had to do to get it to reset. Worked just fine after that except for poor 4G signal. That's why I returned it.
