Rate the Motorola Droid

I would have to say 5 stars, but the only thing I have found out so far is I can't play a web base game that I play all the time. But of course I just got the phone a week ago,so still finding things out

Being a converted Treo 755P user, I love the Droid so far! The only gripe I have is that I haven't found a calendar which I can color code like the Treos. If I can find an app that can do that, I'd give it a 5....but for now...4

After waiting for the next big thing, I was hoping the I-phone would come to Verizon, as I love all the features the I-phone has but when I began researching the Mototrola Droid I began to wonder if the Droid can match to the I-phone. I was more than surprised after I received my phone last week. I began to play with the phone and to my surprise it has everything the I-phone has and more. A better screen picture, an actual keyboard, 5 mg pixel camera with flash, more freedom to customize the phone, a fast processor and all lot more but I won’t name them all. I love this phone, I was more than satisfied about getting this phone and now I don’t really care if the I-phone does come to Verizon or not.

At first I thought I was buying this phone just to have Android 2.0 because initially the form factor didn't appeal to me.

As I've used it though it became clear to me that I love this phone. The screen is incredible... touch response is great...the OS is sweet and only the beginning... and the keyboard... the keyboard I HATED is now one of my favorite features of this device.

Can't wait to see how the DROID line evolves.

LOVE my DROID -
Things THAT I really would like available in DROID-
1. BE able to TURN OFF the data without interrupting the phone function and only work with WIFI (like the Windows Mobile phone)
2. Easy sync with OUTLOOK with data cable or Bluetooth. NOT through google mail.

other than that LOVE IT

I gave the Droid a 5 and here is why.. Finally on Verizon, we get a great phone, and I can appreciate phone technology getting better. I am sure there are other phones that are cool, but Verizon has taken a huge leap by adding this phone. Besides, it's fast and fun...I have owned a ton of phones, BB, Palm, Windows, etc, etc.. this phone is way better. Granted there are a few issues that need to be addressed, but name a phone that doesn't have it's problems..

I gave it a 5. With the stock apps, it's a solid 4.5; but with Touchdown installed for Exchange duties, it raises it up to a 5.

This is compared to my old BB Storm, which on its best day was maybe a 3.

5+

If you are rating the Droid a 5 then you are a spoiled prick. LOL

This phone is awesome. How can you not love a phone that is basically a computer that makes phone calls and fits in your hand? The video quality is awesome and it's got everything I can possibly think to do on a phone. If it could pour me a shot of tequila I would marry it. LOL
