Random Chat? What?

Hello all, I am somewhat new here. I recently had an issue and thought this would be the best place to address it. I was sleeping one night when all of a sudden my alarm (on my droid) woke me up. When I unlocked my phone and went to turn the alarm off, I noticed an alert symbol at the top of my phone. It said something along the lines of "cherrygirl124 wants to chat with you". I accepted but nothing happened and the alert went away. I am now puzzled where that random chat came from. Was it from google? I checked my inbox and I had no new chats active on google or on my phone. I am still curious because that is the only method of chat I have.

thanks for the help! I am curious how that would happen though, I don't go to any sex sites on my phone

I keep getting the same thing. I keep getting invitations to chat from people I don't know. It is now almost ever other hour.

Ugh, What can I use to block them? They aren't in my contacts and my gmail doesn't show me available to chat.

I never got one from a sex site but i do get them from banks and financial companies. Usually they give me a response to opt out.
